KYLA Class of 2020
To the K.Y.L.A. Class of 2020
With COVID still a concern, we are working to schedule Project Proud sessions at the fountains at Center Lake Park in Warsaw so we can social distance outside. The K.Y.L.A. Board is requesting that all K.Y.L.A. graduating students respond quickly to emails, texts, and/or phone calls from Eleanor Williamson and/or Zach Leedy regarding scheduling a date/time for your group to present your Project Proud.
All groups will present separately. We are asking for each group to spend a total of no more than 10 minutes providing an oral presentation with each member of the group participating/speaking.
Each group will present to members of the K.Y.L.A. Board. There will be no other class students present during your presentation.
Eleanor Williamson has either already reached out to you or will be contacting you to schedule a date/time for your group Project Proud presentation. Again, each group will need to spend no more than 10 minutes with members of the Board, as you will not be present for the other projects.
On behalf of the K.Y.L.A Board of Directors
Barb Goslee, Board President
The Academy was formed to encourage the growth, education, training, and motivation of future leaders to meet the challenges of development and expansion in Kosciusko County in the coming decades. It is our goal to provide a positive environment where aspiring high school aged youth can learn the basics of leadership and become informed, capable leaders that assume active roles in the growth of our community.
Along with area businesses, we offer the opportunity for each student to experience various areas of our community, from government and healthcare to social services and agribusiness.
